  Although I do not live near Daytona Beach, I must speak up on behalf of that poor dog who was so obviously abused and whose owner posted the photographs on Facebook. It is unacceptable that the police went to her home and simply walked away from the situation, on the word of this person's son. That is completely irresponsible and NOT in the best interest of that animal. Please, DO YOUR JOB and take that animal away from these abusers and find him a suitable foster home. To do less is to turn a blind eye to animal cruelty.Katie Brown needs to be held accountable for her actions; she needs to face serioius consequences and you need to coordinate with the police department. That anyone would take the word of her son on ANYTHING is beyond the pale. Shame on you. Now please go do your damned job.

  Lazy, poor excuse for anyone assigned to help animals. YES since Humane Society who should be investigating abuse and removing animals does NOT and it is YOUR job then you are no longer there ONLY to enforce laws to protect people which is ridiculous to begin with. You ARE there to PROTECT ALL ANIMALS and listen the first time to their needs not leave them in danger. NOT leave them being neglected as has been seen first hand from your so called AC officers No leave sick and neglected animals with humans who do have no business having animals. Your one woman is so obese she barely wants to do anything requiring moving. Leaving a kitten under a house to die after taking the kittens mother and litter someone else helped get because she was so slug like and obese she would not be bothered! The kitten suffered and died Sure she did not care, like other animals they all have not bothered with, left with abusers, bunch of sorry excuses ! Get a job where animals lives don't depend on your help.
